As one of Hong Kong’s most disciplined youth uniformed teams, the Air Cadets volunteers for social service as a core duty. Recognized for operational efficiency, broad expertise from current and former disciplined services, and strong leadership in command and instruction, we focus our past efforts on large-scale public events and crowd control—an action role few youth teams can provide.

航空青年團作為其中一支高紀律性的香港青少年制服團隊，義務參與社會服務亦是非常重要的一環。基於社會各界機構及團體均認同本團的高度紀律性、行動效率、擁有大量香港不同紀律部隊成員組成的專業知識及經驗，以及指揮行動及教導學員，因此本團在過往的社會服務性質均以大型公眾活動、人群管制為主，亦是香港少數青少年制服團隊能擔任的行動角色。
